Allow Us to Introduce Ourselves

We’re your friends. We’re your neighbors. We’re your local Wintrust Community Bank. Our customers always come first and we value each and every relationship. We create banking solutions that we know will truly benefit you; host free events just so we can get to know you; and give back and get involved with the things that are most important to you. We go above and beyond to deliver more than what you’d expect from a bank.

A Simple Beginning

Wintrust began over a card table, a few cold beers, and the idea to be the alternative to the big banks. In 1991, armed with a briefcase, a folding table, and a cell phone the size of a shoebox, Wintrust’s current CEO and one of the company’s founders, Ed Wehmer, set up shop in his hometown, a northern Chicago suburb. More than twenty-five years and more than 175 locations later, we’ve stayed true to that original mission. We believe there’s still a need, and desire, for a true community bank: where tellers know their customers by name; bankers care about local businesses because they frequent them; and the bank invests in the neighborhood because it’s actually part of the neighborhood. We’re headquartered in Chicago, but we’re proud to open our first location outside of the Midwest and officially call Naples, Florida our new home.

Why Bank With Us?

We believe in going the extra mile. (Or in this case, more than 1,300.) We’re excited to open Wintrust Banking Center, our first location outside of our Chicago-area footprint. Why are we here? Because this is where our customers are. We heard from customers who call Naples, Florida home for at least part of the year, that a location here would help meet their banking needs. So, here we are. But, that doesn’t mean we are any less committed to serving the entire Naples community. In fact, it’s a decision that truly illustrates our customer focus. We’re ready to get to know Naples so we can be an asset to this area.
