Susan Amory Weninger
Susan Amory Weninger is a seasoned real estate professional with a career spanning over 20 years and currently works for @properties Christie's International Real Estate. As an experienced broker, Susan is consistently ranked top 5% sales production for the North Shore- Barrington Association of Realtors.
Susan began her career in the City of Chicago market, and is home in Lake Forest now, where she was born and raised. Susan's heart belongs to Lake Forest and Lake Bluff and has much gratitude for the communities, their outstanding public facilities, and bountiful opportunities for all ages. She has a strong and deep network of personal and professional relationships throughout the Chicagoland area.
Susan is committed to philanthropy and has actively participated in numerous charitable initiatives by serving on various boards. Susan honed valuable leadership skills as President of the Women’s Board of Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital. She currently serves as Treasurer on the Board of Governors for the Onwentsia Club and is honored to be one of the first women on the Board. Additionally, Susan is a Director of the Wequetonsing Association in Harbor Springs, Michigan, and resides on the Membership Committee. Susan’s husband, Darren, owns a successful boutique production company in Chicago, MK Films, for which Susan also serves as President.
Susan graduated from Kenyon College in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Prior to entering real estate, she worked in the Personal Trust department at Northern Trust, and before that, worked as a sales and marketing professional for acclaimed chef Rick Bayless. Susan loves family adventures with her husband and two sons. Plus, she enjoys long walks to the beach, reading, and watching her two boys sporting events!
